For many people, a home is not a home without a pet to share it with. Residents of Devon Communities are welcome to own and enjoy their pets.
For the benefit of everyone in the community, we have these few limitations regarding dogs and cats:
Residents may own one dog weighing no more than 25 pounds at maturity, or residents may own no more than two cats.
Residents must have proof of license, full up-to-date vet records, and must assign a pet trustee.
Excepting designated areas, all Devon Communities are smoke-free for the health, safety and comfort of our residents and their guests.
We are pleased to adopt this policy not only in response to changing laws but also in response to input from our residents who prefer a smoke-free living experience.
Those wishing to smoke should check with individual property managers to identify designated smoking areas.
Our residents who may have special needs are in good hands in Devon Communities.
In addition to offering full handicap-accessibility in every unit, certain common areas have signage with Braille. Designated units in many of our communities are also specially equipped and move-in ready for the visually, hearing, or mobility-impaired.
Beyond that, we maintain a strong working relationship with social service agencies, so we are able to respond and offer support for a variety of other needs residents might have.
We are committed to providing a quality living environment to all our residents, and we’re glad to go the extra mile to make sure we do.

To be considered for an apartment in our community, you must submit a fully completed application.
• After You Apply
After 2 weeks of receipt of your application, you will receive an acknowledgement letter.
If your application meets the preliminary requirements your application will be listed in the chronological order of date and time received on the wait list for property you applied to.
Applicants must inform the residential complex you have applied for any changes in address, income, and/or household composition after they submit an application.
Annually, if you provided a phone number or e-mail address the residential complex will send you an updated contact letter inquiring of any changes and/or obtain your continued interest to remain on the wait list.
