Devon Management Walks for a Cause: Making Strides Against Breast Cancer

On October 18, members of the Devon Management team came together at Woodbury Commons to participate in the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer walk. Through generous donations, personal fundraising efforts, and a shared commitment to the cause, the team raised $1,500 to support breast cancer awareness and research.

The event brought together employees from multiple properties and departments, all walking side by side in support of those who have been affected by breast cancer. For many, the day was not only about fundraising but also about connection, reflection, and hope. It served as a reminder that when we come together as a team, we can make a real difference beyond the walls of our communities.

This effort was part of DM Cares, Devon Management’s internal initiative that focuses on giving back and building stronger communities. DM Cares encourages employees to take part in activities that promote kindness, unity, and positive change. Whether it’s fundraising for important causes, organizing community clean-ups, hosting food drives, or volunteering at local events, DM Cares is about doing what we can to make the world a little better for those around us.

At Devon Management, we believe that our role extends beyond managing properties. We are neighbors, friends, and community members who share a responsibility to support one another. The Making Strides walk was one example of how we live out that mission, showing up together for something bigger than ourselves.

We are proud of our team’s enthusiasm and the impact they continue to make through DM Cares. Their dedication and teamwork reflect the values that define Devon Management which are compassion, commitment, and community.

Thank you to everyone who donated, participated and supported the cause. Together, we continue to make strides toward a brighter, healthier future.
